Brace yourselves, Eagles fans. Philadelphia has greased the light poles.

Whether the Eagles win or lose in the NFC championship game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday evening, the city of Philadelphia is prepared.

Good thing, too, given that Philly fans have been known for their outrageous behavior. Win or lose, they’re going to be letting off steam, but shinnying up light poles will not be among their postgame activities.

That’s because police, armed with cans of Crisco and dubbing themselves the Crisco Cops, are greasing up the poles, taking all the fun out of mayhem and/or revelry.
